I have a imported java agent containing a jar file. The package name is , for example “com.xyzcomp.testagent”. The agent is running fine but within the jar file is a properties file, for example “test.properties”. When the agent runs it falls over when trying to locate the resource, despite referring to it as “com.xyzcomp.testagaent.test.properties”.
The only way I can get it to find the resource file is to have the jar file in the “data\jvm\lib\ext” folder. Thsi works but obviously requires a server restart if the agent changes. Does anyone know why the resource cannot be found in the imported jar file or any other way of getting the resource on the classpath without using the “data\jvm\lib\ext” folder?
