Import XLS into a Notes View

Is anyone able to import an excel file into a view without programming? We are running Office 2007 which does not allow saving the XLS as a Lotus 1-2-3 product anymore.

Isn’t it time that Lotus allows importing of more file types into the view?

Running symphony does not help either since the new file types are not those to be imported as well.

I can right some code, but it should not take take code to import a file.

Am I the only one with this request? I have a PMR / enhancement request called into IBM.

Now that both Office and Notes have released their newest versions, and people are encouraged to use Open Office, Symphony, or the newest Office, we’re out of luck.

How can Lotus not think importing a CSV file is something they have to support?
