Import Notes ID in DWA

Dear all,

In order to read encrypted / signed message in Domino Web Access, import Notes ID is need.

But if “Check Password” option is selected in the Address Book, and I change the Notes ID password through Notes Client, I can still use old Notes ID password in Domino Web Access to open encrypted message.

Is check password option cannot affect the imported Notes ID ?

I am not 100% sure on this so you’d have to test it but I don’t think changing the password on the Notes ID in the client will prevent the imported ID [with a different password] from encrypting/decrypting documents even if the Check Password option is turned on. To my understanding the ID is there for retrieving its private/public keys and not for authentication.
