Hi EveryBody.I hv fetch an image from oracle database and save it as .gif in my local drive through lotus script.
But when i am importing this image in Richtext field, then a msg prompts : Format Not Supported.
But when i open this image with Microsoft Paint and again save it.
then after import cammand is working.
what is the solution of this error?
is there any option to open an image with paint in background and save it again.

Subject: Lotus Notes unfortunately only support a few image formats …
… and obviously the gifs you get from your Oracle database is of some sort that the default gif-handler in Notes don’t understand. I know that there have been issues with some web cam solutions (such as cameras used to take employee photographs) that create esoteric sub formats. Again, Import Image 2 Lotus Notes may convert most of these images to valid gifs or jpegs (I wouldn’t use gifs by the way, if you have photograps, way too few colors!)
