Can somebody please advise me how I can import rows of data from excel into a Lotus Notes application?
I used to be able to import WK4 files but these are no longer support in the latest versions of Office.
I have tried importing CSV/XLS files into a view but the data does not import correctly into each individual field.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Subject: File, Import
I have not done it for a while, but this is what I did.
File > Import
Select File Type (I just selected Tabular Text this time, makje sure it is in the right format.
Make sure the headings match the field names.
Select the form, and calculate fields on form (if applicable).
Then it just works.
Where are the problems toy are having?

Subject: Lotus Notes Import Utility
If you’d like to consider a third-party solution we have an import utility for Lotus Notes which can import data from MS Excel, MS Access, CSV, XML, and many other formats.
More information can be found at:
Import Utility for Notes imports data directly from Comma Delimited (CSV), Excel, Access, Outlook, XML, Oracle, SQL, dBase, Fixed Width, Tab Delimited, Notes Structured Text, Filesystem files (as attachments) and other character delimited files.
Subject: If a third-party solution is OK with you, try Notes Import Export Library
It is still in beta, but I have received good feedback on the concept. Try it out; http://www.vcode.no/vcode.nsf/htdocs/iel
