We would like to implement an archiving policy. However, many of our users already have archives on our archive server. Some are being archived from the mail server to the archive server. Some are being archived locally, then replicated to the archive server. And, of course, not all of the settings are standard, especially number of days (which some of our users have specific need for longer amounts).
Our issues are “How do we find which users already have archiving turned on?” and “What are their settings?” The policy seems to just override anything set, which would cause users to either have two archives, or change settings to a different standard.
