IMAP display problem

We have upgraded our Lotus Domino Server 7.0.3 to 8.0.1 on SLES10.Our problem now is, that all new emails are not displayed with IMAP clients (Thunderbird, etc.).

We are able to see old emails but not the very new ones.

Displaying emails with browsers and Lotus Notes clients are O.K.

We’ve tried different things: new template, fixup, compact, deleting ($inbox). Nothing helps.

Hi Konrad,

Is this an ongoing issue with new e-mail arrivals? Or is it a once-off since migration and there’s a large queue of e-mails waiting to be displayed which were marked as new?

Hi Oscar,

we had to move back to 7.0.3 because our users will not accept not to use their IMAP clients.

Everything worked fine for about six hours except the IMAP view.

If you are using Lotus Notes client or a browser everything is O.K. You can see all emails (in INBOXes and other folders). Older ones before upgrading, newer ones which arrived after the upgrade.

If you are using Thunderbird, you can only see the older emails. No new emails are in INBOXes.

If you are only using Thunderbird, it seems, as if you don’t get emails any more.

You can delete old emails, you can move old emails to other folders. But can’t see new ones.
