Image resource on form not updating

I have added an image resource to a form design. If I update the image, the form does not reflect the change.

Specific things tried:

Insert resource in the cell. Change the actual image, update the resource, keep same name for everything - form still shows the old image.

Insert resource as cell background. Change the actual image, update the resource, keep same name for everything - form still shows the NEW image.

I have used image resources elsewhere on buttons and those update just fine.

When I put them onto the form, it’s as if Notes treats them as regular old images with no link to the resource.

Am I missing something or is this the way it works?

I have searched Notes help and found this thread elsewhere: http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/55c38d716d632d9b8525689b005ba1c0/1593c8a3d5c56fc0852570a10074aaaa?OpenDocument which seems to indicate that both images and cell backgrounds should work.

Sounds like a cacheing issue. Does the old image still show up if you close the browser and start a new session?Try pressing shift key and clicking the refresh button to reload the page without using the cached page.

If that also does not work, go into internet tools options and delete all delete all files.

See if that works

Sorry, my bad…Notes client only; not a web app. FWIW, exiting the app and reloading it doesn’t change the behavior - inserted image resources don’t update, image resources as cell backgrounds do update.

For now, I’m going with the image as a table background.
