Hello,
Can anyone tell me the difference between thefollowing two fields in the Replication tab of a location document in names.nsf?
… when “Prompt to replicate when Notes shuts down” is selected.
Thanks in advance,
Phil
Subject: “If outbox is not empty”/“If anything is waiting to be sent” - what’s the difference?
Hi
Thats what Notes help says:
"9. (Optional) Select “Prompt to replicate when Notes shuts down” and an option:
“If anything is waiting to be sent” replicates when any local database has changes.
“If outbox is not empty” replicates only when there is outgoing mail to be sent."
So it checks any local database for changes and automatically replicates (or tries to replicate) them with available servers. Haven’t explicitly tested this but would assume this requires a corresponding entry in the replicator page.

Thanks, Stefan.
I didn’t spot this in the Help (although, I did, of course, look first!)
Cheers,
