IE 7 was released this morning and we’re testing it out. We’re getting errors when viewing the DWA calendar. We keep getting the error listed below. We have a Domino 6.5.5 server running on a Windows 2000 server. Are others seeing the same problem? Any know if a patch is in the works?Thanks,

Subject: IE7 and DWA Calendar

I’m on Domino 7.0.1 and I also loaded IE7 on a test box earlier. I’m getting the DWA warnings as well in my calendar. If I switch to View > Summarize in my calendar then I don’t get the error.

Since IE7 is so new, I’m sure that Lotus will test it and probably fix their side for Domino 7.0.3. I haven’t gone to 7.0.2 yet to test, so it may be fixed in 7.0.2. But I doubt that Lotus would work on that since IE7 was still in beta when 7.0.2 was released.

What versions of DWA will support IE7?

IE7 beta is not supported becaue it is beta code. We will only support the gold version of IE7.

Are there any known bugs?

–>> Once the IE7 gold code is released, it will be tested against DWA 6.5.6, 7.0.3, 8.0. Versions of DWA that do not support IE7 will possibly experience the following problems: (they do not affect versions 6.5.6, 7.0.3, or 8.0)

I did it… and still get the error.

I’m using ND6.5.

I have ND 7.0.2 at home… i will try to test it by weekend

I noticed that I got that sometimes and I actually had to switch it to “summarize” a couple of times. Lotus has published their technote about this that was referenced in a previous post:

It appears that some or at least one of these issues has been resolved in 7.0.2. Performing a search on some of the other SPR’s returned this same record as well.
