I have tried disabling the XMLHTTPS stuff like in a technote listed here, but I have several people getting DWA Script Access Errors. Here is a detail of the error:
UserAgent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727)
Canonical UserName: CN=Mike Cody/O=mka
h_PageUnid: 35526A50E5A5053EBDBE11C80838661F
This happens when I start up DWA and everytime I tried to read a message. The pop-up window comes up fine afterwords, but I don’t see a reason this is happening. I am using a fully up-to-date XP IE 7 install. Any help would be appreicated.
We just upgraded our Domino environment from 6.5.4 to 8.0.2 and we’re getting this same error from our web client users. We have reimaged some machines and that seems to resolve the isssue, but that’s unacceptable for what’s supposed to be a simple web application. We have applied all windows updates, updated Java (is Java even used? I can’t find any information), replaced design of databases, and have hundreds of irate users demanding to be put back on the old server.
We finally figured out what was causing our particular issue. Some of our older machines had Microsoft VM installed. After removing that, upgrading to Internet Explorer 7, resetting browser to factory defaults, and then installing the current version of Sun Java, the problem has gone away.
