We have a user, Joe HelpDesk/oldcert/OurCo, who has password reset authority in several ID Vaults. We want to eliminiate the oldcert certifier and replace it with NewCert, so he would become Joe HelpDek/NewCert/OurCo. If we issue a rename (move to new certifier), will he still be able to reset p/w’s in the vaults? Or will we need to re-authorize his new personna?

Subject: You will need to issue a new password reset certificate.

If you move the password reset authority to a new certifier, you will need to issue a new password reset certificate for the user to be able to reset passwords. Use the ID vault Manage tool or Password Reset Authority tool to add the user again. You may also want to remove the old user.
