Hello,I’m right now testing ID vault.
I have created a security policy for my testusers and some of them got the internet password changed after a while.
Another testuser I can’t change password on with ID vault. I must change it in the person document.
I got this in the log when I change password with id vault;
Errors: Title: Domain Path: names.nsf; Error: The signatures in the Name Change Request and Change Signature items did not match
It’s when the domino server tries to sync the notes id password to the internet password.
Same problem with my own user. Any ideas?
I read this article (part A);

Maybe better to wait for 8.5.1 before I deploy id vault?

Another testuser I can’t change password on with ID vault. Q: what password are you trying to change (password in the vault, password on the Notes ID file, internet password) and from where are you trying to change it ?
I got this in the log when I change password with id vault;
Errors: Title: Domain Path: names.nsf; Error: The signatures in the Name Change Request and Change Signature items did not match
Q: When did the error show up in log.nsf - right after you attempted a password reset in the vault?
Password changes do not have any effect on name changes?

Subject: change pass in id vault
When I try reset the password in id vault.
The password on the id files get updated but when adminp tries to update the internet password I got that error in log.nsf.
I have a policy that says that the internet password will update when I change password on the id file.
Subject: Questions
Ok lets work the password sync first.
Does an adminp request get generated to update the internet password in the directory after the client has authenticated after a password change?
Trying to determine if error message related to admin request or something else.
Subject: after client authentication
exactly, the adminp runs after client authentication.
Subject: Questions
Does the adminp request succeed or fail with the same message in the log.nsf
Subject: error in log.nsf
