Is it possible to set up ID Vault on a non registration server? I would like to set up ID Vault on our primary cluster server which would be upgraded to 8.5 leaving the rest of our infrastructure at 8.0.2. Would the ID Vault still work for clients to contact this server for password resets?

I haven’t really looked at the ID Vault because you need 8.5 Client to take advantage of it and I’m waiting until we are 100% upgraded on the client side.

There is no requirement that a Notes ID vault live on the registration server.
