I am using the Password Reset Authority from the right pane menu in de administrator for adding an admin from a hosted domain XXXXXX. The admin is member of the domain XXXXXX.I get the error:
Add the following password reset authorities:
PASSWORD RESETTER CERTIFICATE CREATION TO ALLOW ADMINX XXXXXX/XXXXXX TO RESET PASSWORDS FOR USERS IN THE ORGANIZATION /XXXXXX FAILED WITH ERROR. (ENTRY NOT FOUND IN INDEX)
Questions in this case are, which index is meant here and is it possible to use the Vault when CA Process is applied to the environment.
Analyzing the Vault Security Log was not of any help. Actually, none of the logs was of any help yet.
Any ideas how to tackle this issue?
Subject: ID Vault
Hi
I am guessing it means the ID you want to control the Vault, has not been uploaded to the Vault.
Is this user in the list of the IDs in your Vault? You need to add the server too as a Password reset authority if you want to reset the passwords through an agent.
Subject: Forwarded to development
Subject: User is in the ID Vault
The user who needs to be authorized for resetting passwords is in the Vault and also the ID can be extracted from the Vault.
I would like to add this user to the list of Password Reset Authorities. At the moment I press the button “Configure”, which is the last button before the actually changes are worked up, I get the error that something can not be found in a certain index.
Subject: Check password resetter’s person doc in the directory on the server
In the process of adding a password resetter, a password reset certificate is created, issued by the certifier of the organization (for those users whose passwords may be reset) to the password resetter.
Can you check the password resetter’s entry in the directory and that it contains a valid Notes certificate?
A couple other questions:
Is the password resetter in the same organization as the organization he is assigned to reset passwords?
Does the certificate for the organization’s certifier exist on the server with a valid public key?
