I have following issue with Domino ID recovery. Only the administrator who created the ID is allowed to recover the ID. All other Admins getting the follwoing error even though their names are in the Master Recovery database before creating the ID file. " You are not authorized to recover this ID file". Can someone help?

The list of recovery authorities is contained in the certifier, not in the backup repository database. Since you’re using ND6, once you add the rest of the admins to the list of recovery authorities in the certifier, clients will automatically download the updated information into their ID files during authentication to the home server, and then new encrypted backups will be sent out that contain the full list of RAs.

Dave,Thanks for the information. So do you know why other authorities than the person who created the ID is not abale to recover it?

Those admins were probably not included in the list of recovery authorities that is configured in the certifier ID file.
