Have installed notes on a new pc. Now whenever I try to open the “old” databases, I get that I am not authorized. The old id-file is gone, is there any way to open this file?

What are the “old” databases?Are the databases on the server? or local?
If the old id-file is gone, are you trying to access the databases as a different user?

the databases are on a cd, so they r local. Yes tried for a new user, and only get the authorization trouble…How can I open it?

Copy the databases off the CD first. Then take the read-only attribute off them. You should be able to open them then (assuming no other problems.)
