is it possible that user do not get message warning about notes id to be expired? reason I’m asking for it is because people ignore these messages and then blame system that they never receive any warnings that their notes id is going to expire…as I search forum and think about solution how to be proactive it raise some more question:- some one suggested to check cerlog file and recertify IDs as they are close to the expiration date, that sounds ok but:

you certify some one ID and it updates certlog database next time you look at certlog it shows that user id expiration date is far in the future, whatever date you certified for, but this does not mean that user did not ignore your email with attached file to be merge into their local copy

to be proactive by checking certlog database also means you need to have an access to this user id file, what about if when user is created you do not specify "store id in domino directory”?
and I know that you can store IDs in DD, or save as file and keep somewhere for admin access, or even specify mail-in database to send backup ID, but I’m trying to think of any possibility
also why certlog displays multiple different dates for same user (occasionally) is it because there is multiple ID for this user?
