Am I the only person who finds the IBM passport advantage close to impossible to use?
Nearly everytime I try and download something on it, I need at least 5 attempts and a couple of searches here to figure out where what I need is hidden.
To try and prevent this being an entirely negative post - what do you reckon can be done to improve it?
For me a big button “show me the latest client and server for my locale and platform” would be a big time saver - it could try and guess your details via the browser user agent string and if that failed simply ask you “platform” and “language”.
I know the categories bit should technically do this for you but it always seems to return either hundreds or no results for me.
For instance, I just tried:
“All brands”
“All product groups”
“Notes with collaboration”
“English”
“Windows XP”
“Within last year”
And got no results! OK, maybe I should’ve chose US English or International English - that’s not the point though.
