I just purchased a new Sony Clie TJ35 and it came with a copy of Intellisync Lite which is fine EXCEPT that the Lite version does not support Notes but it does support Lookout.
This is a subtle way for Sony to help market and encourage folks to use Lookout.
Actually, my first reaction would be, “I guess Intellisync doesn’t make a Lotus Notes product. I’ll purchase a product that does, and tell my friends what I purchased to sync Lotus Notes.” Bad marketing move by Intellisync.
They do but to get it you have to spend an extra $49 for it when the Lookout support is there for nothing.
There is no reason that IBM could not (1) offer Sony an EasySync lite with Notes support or (2) encourage Intellisync to include Notes support in their lite version.
