I want to configure the sendmail as smtp server in domino

hi, I want sent outside mail through sendmail acting as a smtp server, what is the configuration i make in domino to support these

Go to your Domino server’s configuraiton document, and enter the sendmail server’s IP address or hostname in the relay host field on the Router/SMTP - Basics tab.

Thanks for your responce…

I have done this, the mails also are able to route through this SMTP but when I try to trace the SMTP server it is unable to do so. & on the console before transferring the mails to SMTP server first it gives the error of “unable to trace the SMTP server”, then it transferrs the mails at one go. the only problem is the error message on the console.
