In one of my databases I have an embedded view which we use to access the database from the web. Users can also search for documents. Now I want the database to show the web user the search word(s) having been used when searching is finnished. Have you any idea how I do this? If you have please let me know.

You can accomplish this several ways Jo - but the most flexible is to create a $$SearchTemplate for the database (or $$SearchTemplate for viewname for a particular view). Now, you can add computed fields like “query” or “TotalHits” and use Computed Text to display a more dynamic message back to your users.
I’m working on something now in fact where I created a $$SearchTemplate for my view, added all of my view navigation and such to the form, and added the following at the top of my form:
Search results for : Request(s) in Total
CV#1: “"” + query + “"”
CV#2: @Text(TotalHits)
And this gives me the following:
Search results for “Toohey”: 1 Request(s) in Total
… when I search for “Toohey”.
The only limitation that you have is that you cannot, for some rediculous reason, set the Form content type to anything other than Notes - so get your passthru ready!
(BTW - I typically end the form on the first line ala “” and then start my own DHTML. You will still get some Domino generated muck, but this gives you much more control over things!)
