First, got off you negativity soapbox. You kight get more responses.
If all you need is email and can live with constant virus attacks and do not care about scalability. Go with Exchange.
If you want to build applications in a robust, rapid application development as well. Go with Notes/Domino.
As far as yout PhP rant, Domino was not designed to accomodate the latest and greatest craze that may change tomorrow. You CAN run PHP on Domino, but why add an additonal layer when Domino can do much more than PHP and if done right, come close in performance?
Notes is NOT equavalent to Exchange/Outlook, as much as Microsft would like you to think so. Notes was never designed to be a word processor and can integrate seamlessly with Office products.
