I have come to the conclusion that it is time for me to start a blog - but what template should I use?

I am currently using domBulletin at my site http://domainpatrol.org for web discussions. I want to create rich articles (blogs) as a part of that and started a new category “Tips & Tricks” for DomainPatrol users. Now I am ready to publish my first blog entry and it contains a lot of inline images. I discovered that I couldnt cut and paste the while article with the inline images to a new entry in the domBulleting forum using the Notes client as I had hoped, because there is only a text field for the body part. Well I then decided to try to add the entry from the browser as I know I can upload the images and use ubb code to insert the uploaded images. I then discovered that I could only upload one image. Ouch

So now I´m facing the situation where I belive I need to try a “real” blog solution.

I have seen that there are a number of them and I would like to have your help and experience with those different ones and hear your thougts on wich one I should probably choose in the situation that I have described.

Thank you for the help on bringing yet another blogger to the world.

Peter:

It would be great to see you in the blogosphere.

I, and many others, use the OpenNTF blog template:

If you are using Domino 7.0.2, there is a blog template included. But it is on the server, not the client.

Be sure to let me know when you go live, I’ll add you to my blogroll and post an entry.

HTH.

Thanks Gregg!

I’m sorry for the memory loss on our meeting in Boston.

I read your blog and just didn’t make the connection. My IRL and VR lifes doesn’t always sync

I am installing the Blogsphere app as of this moment - and at the same time upgrading everything to Notes/Domino 8. Yehaa!

I will give you a hint when I’m up and running.
