Hyperlinks are being stripped out

I am having a problem with hyperlinks that arebeing stripped out of one users email. When they

get the an email with hyperlinks and forward it to a outside address (non notes client) the hyperlinks are being stripped out but when I forwarded the same email the hyperlinks were still there. I looked at the users client and couldn’t see any differences. Where in the client would be this setting or on the server that I could check?

Are the hyperlinks links to Notes documents? If so, their setting could be to convert to MIME and it could be losing the links that way.

Hi,

Try to check if the problem is on the client side, or the mail side.

Give access to someone else to his mailfile. And from the second workstation, try to do the same.

I believe you will have the same result. The problem can be fixed with a refresh design.

Weird, I went back into the location perferences- mail tab and changed Format for messages addressed to internet addresses:

to Notes Rich Text Format

Save and closed.

Went back in and changed it back to MIME Format and the hyperlinks in the outgoing email are working now.

Somehow it must have lost the setting and sent everything in Notes Rich Text format even though it was set to MIME but temporarily changing it fix the problem.
