I notice that this same problem is being reported by others. In my testing the error appears with either Netscape or IE, immediately upon access (after accepting the cert). Right now I just want to suppress the constant error messages, since the users are not having any problems:HTTP Server: SSL handshake failure, IP address [123.456.789.000], Keyring [keyfile.kyr], [SSL Error: Network IO error], code [4165]
Subject: HTTP Server: SSL handshake failure, Network IO error, code 4165
In IE turn off SSL 2.0
Fixed my issue had the same error
HTTP Server: SSL handshake failure, Network IO error, code 4165
Subject: RE: HTTP Server: SSL handshake failure, Network IO error, code 4165
Forgot to add one more thing.
ALLOW COOKIES, this should make the error go away.
I did do a reset of my IE setting then changed the settings (to a lower privacy setting) So cookies is the Key I think.

Hi,
Has anyone else found found any out about this. I am getting the same problem after upgrading from 5.11 to 6.0. But I am using Netscape 4.7 which has no options for SSL2 or Cookies (well apart from accept cookies or don’t).
TIA
Chris

In Netscape 4.7 is nothing to do to suppress those SSL handshake failure messages, but you have to disable the SSLv2 in server document.
Go in server documents to:
Ports->InternetPorts->Web->EnableSSLv2->Uncheck if checked.
Good luck,
