HTTP Server: Error - Unable to Bind DominoXXX, port 80, port may be in use

Hi,

the HTTP-Task doesn’t start. Alleged the port may be in use…! Any Portmodification at the Serverdocument has no success: port may be in use!!!

System: W2K, Sp4, Domino 6.0.3 LPack Ger

Does anybody know a Solution?

Subject: Check that IIS isn’t running in Services

If Notes sees IIS (I think the IIS Web Admin, too)then Notes HTTP sees it already in use.

Just Shutdown those Services & try it again

ISS Task isn’t running ! ! !

netstat -an shows nothing on Port 80.

Check, if the ip address in the server document’s “Internet Protocols / HTTP / Bind to hostname” is enabled and if so, wether the correct hostname or ip-adress is listed in either the “Host name(s)” on the same page or in /etc/hosts.Another reason might be an ip adress in the notes.ini (under TCPIP_TcpIpAddress=0,x.y.z.w:port).

Don
