HTTP Problems

Hello

We have a DOmino server running v6 on an AS/400. Recently it was configured to handle multiple website login pages via internet site documents, through Single Server Signon (before that it was using single server signon, but the domcfg.nsf file had been changed to customize the default signon screen).

Now every hour or so we are experiencing strange HTTP errors. It will work fine for a while, but eventually it will indicate a 404 error (page not found) for any page. Thereafter any hit from other machines, other users, etc will give 404 errors. Doing a “restart task http” fixes the problem.

Anyone have any similar experiences that they fixed?

This looks like a problem that was fixed in the recent 6.0.1 release. I believe the associated SPR number is JGIR5J9UBA. I would recommend contacting IBM support to be sure, though.

We have the same the problem. Can you confirm the SPR number, as I cannot find it in the fix list.

Thanks

This is from fixlist db here at notes.net:

6.0.1 - SPR# CNIN5DNHNU - Fixed an HTTP crash which occurred when repeatedly restarting via console command ‘restart task http’. This regression was introduced in 6.0.

Maybe you should “tell http quit” and then “load http” =)
