HTTP Login not working on one server

Hi,

I have 3 servers (6.03, 6.51, 6.52). My mail has a replica on all three, and I can access two of them via HTTP OK. On the third server (6.5.2) my login details do not work.

I have tried changing the password directly in the problem server’s names.nsf, but it still does not work.

Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks in advance for your help

Neil

Subject: HTTP Login not working on one server: error message? corrupt view index?

Neil,

is there any error message or other symptom that shows up? An authentication error or an authorization error? What’s the message?

You might also have a corrupt view index on he names.nsf, which then makes it impossible for Domino to look up your credentials.

In order to solve this, take down your server, then go to a command line and type the following command:

c:\lotus\domino>nupdall -r names.nsf

Now, start your server again and retry to log in.

Have fun,

Stephan
