Before upgrading a test server to 6.01, I received the following msg.

04/21/2003 10:47:37 AM Addin: Agent printing: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: File or directory d:\notes\Data\domino\servlet does not exist: File or directory d:\notes\Data\domino\servlet does not exist

After upgrading to 6.01, I received the following msg, and the http server hangs initializing.

HTTP JVM:

Can’t find class java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError. Invalid class path ?

Any ideas?

Subject: HTTP JVM

The first error msg results from turning on the Domino Servlet Manager in the server document without creating a servlet directory, at least in R5.

I haven’t seen the second error msg on HTTP initialization, however if the Servlet Manager is enabled and your not using it, best turn it off until needed, the same as any other service or task.
