Hi , Was this after an upgrade? I have read somewhere that the install doesn’t alway remove old .jar files i have found on the server i’m working on that there are duplicate files in the Domino Programs directory as well as the programs\JVM directory.
As I have read in some similar posts, this problem is due to an installation over an old version of Domino Server.
A new installation in a new directory resolves this problem. Probably it’s due by some jar files missing or duplicate, or by an incorrect tree of directory.
Hi Enrica, I’m experiencing exactly the same erorr messgae when the Domino server starts the HTTP process. This is the first time after a 6.5.1 upgrade that the HTTP task has been started.I think I’ve narrowed is down to a classpath problem aswell.
I’ve checked the system classpath and the Javauserclasses in the notes.ini but I still can’t sort it.
Id be most greatful to hear if you get any feedback. In the meantime, I’m gonna continue hunting down a solution
