HTTP authenticated user sent to /names.nsf?Login

Why would an authenticated web user be directed to /names.nsf?Login?

A web browser client attempts to open the following URL:

http://servername.domain.com/staff.nsf.

The user is prompted to authenticate.

Session Authentication

Custom Login Form “LoginUserForm” in DOMCFG database

DWA Redirection database named STAFF.NSF

After authentication, the user is sent to http://servername.domain.com/names.nsf?Login with a report of “The page cannot be displayed”. If the user re-enters http://servername.domain.com/staff.nsf, they are not prompted to reauthenticate and are re-directed to their mail file appropriately.

The Domino server was recently upgraded to v7.0.2. I believe that this problem did not occur prior to the upgrade.

Does anyone know why it is going to /names.nsf?Login after the login page?

Bill,

Have a look at your dwar.nsf db and its current settings. Is it set to dynamic redirection? or fixed redirection? try switching it around.

Also check that your servers web setting under server document > Internet Protocols > HTTP > verify your home URL mapping is correct…

Thanks
