HTML/MIME emails slow to open

Hello,

can anyone tell me why HTML emails arriving from the Internet (newsletters etc) take about 20 seconds to open with version 6 or 7 of the Notes client? Images are rendering fine.

The same email opens nice and quickly using version 8 of the client when opened on a replica of the mail file with release 8 design on a Domino 8 server. I get the same delay when opening the email on the Domino 6 server with the 8 client.

Is there anything that can be done about this?

I have same problem on ONE Lotus Client R7 (Domino 7.0.3 FP1),and no idea why this happened and how to fix.

Since this Lotus Notes use important person, if someone know solution, please post here.
