I have a user with the following setup. He has Lotus Notes running on a desktop machine, and another copy running on a latptop. He never uses both at the same time, it is only one or the other.
When receiving an email from the Internet, that contains HTML in the body, the email messages is received fine. The user can open the message and it is rendered properly. He can do so any number of times. Then if he closes the copy he is running, and switches to the other machine (desktop to laptop or vice versa), the message still appears to be OK. It is on the switch back to the original machine again , and all of a sudden the nice pretty formatted HTML email messages is totally distorted, and the images are removed and replace with the red [IMAGE] tags.
Is this a known bug?
I have created a new address book, and setup new location documents for each copy, as this has corrected it in the past. As well, I have ensure that the Address Book settings state to “Keep in Senders Format”. I have deleted the perweb.nsf database on both machines and let them recreate. I am stuck now as what to do next.
