I’m trying to create an application that will be able to extractemails from Lotus Notes. I’m a Delphi user.
I’ve discovered that I need documents which returns ‘Memo’ for
GetItemValue(‘Form’)[0].
I can extract the plain text from emails:
GetItemValue(‘Body’)[0]
So my questions are:
how can I extract html part from emails?
and how can I extract attachments from emails?

Hi Alexey,Attachments are Stored As NotesEmbeddedObjects. You can get them as a NotesDocument.GetEmbeddedObjects property.
The mail body is stored in the Body field which is of type NotesRichText. It could contain RichText or Mime. There is a mimeEntry class to get hands on that.

This is very strange, because the most of my emails have HTML part, but Lotus gives me the value “RICHTEXT” for them. Can it see MIME at all?

It can see MIME if the documents are not converted (Notes does not display MIME natively). However, most mail in Notes is in Notes CD (rich text) format, not MIME, unless it comes from outside the organisation, and then the delivered format depends on preferences set on your Person document in the Domino Directory.

How can I iterate through all parts and extract data?
