I have field encapsulated by some Pass Thru HTML
When displayed on the web everything looks perfect.
In the client the "> appear after the computed date.
Anyone have any issues like this?? I couldn’t find anything like this in the forums.

Subject: HTML code displaying after Field
Off the top of my head, the problem could be with the in your field value. You might need to escape these brackets because the domino server sees this as an indication that what is in the brackets is pass-thru html (instead of selecting the text and marking it as such, this can be used).

Joel thanks for the responce but my representation of [Field Date_Opened] is supposed to be a notes field, not literal of how I have it on the form.
Subject: RE: HTML code displaying after Field
Ah, ok. One way to get around this is to use computed text to refer to the editable field value (that is presumably hidden somewhere else on the page) or use a computed field.
<input type =“text name=“Date_Opened” value=”">
<input type =“text name=“Date_Opened” value=”">
Having said all of that, is there a reason for not simply using a Notes editable field and applying the ReadOnly style attribute to it?

Yes, there is method to the madness, the field is a date stamp. It wouldn’t show on the web as a computed when composed field unless I encapsalated it in the <input… , In the end I ended up using a second field $$Created to generate the value and just display it via the Date_Opened field.
Thanks for the feedback though… Much appreciated.
