I have a user who just received a rebuilt pc. She has an issue with a newsletter email she received where the body of the email is mostly blank with some letters running down the left side of the screen. It shows a border of a box in the body of the email as well but all the text runs down the left side of the screen. I believe it is HTML text. She forwarded the message to me and I can view it ok. Is this a setting in the client, if so where do I find it?

This is a setting in the Domino Directory. In the Basics Tab > Mail > Format Preference for Incoming Mail.
Compare this setting in your Person Doc to the user who is not able to read the mail. I believe that it will only affect mail that is treated after the change is made. In other words, she won’t be able to read the one she has, but she will be able to read the next one she gets.
Assuming this is the problem.
