HP-UX support?

Just noticed that there is no HP-UX version of domino 6.x with 5.x the HP port took a while to appear. Is there going to be support for HP-UX, or has it been dropped?

We run our main server on HP-UX, and I’d like to know whether I am going to have to buy new hardware when I decide to upgrade to 6.X!

well it has been announced supported (but not when).

What are the plans for the Domino Rnext Server on HP-UX ?

Due to a renewed partnership between Lotus Software from IBM and Hewlett-Packard,

Lotus plans to support the next major functional release, code named “Rnext” on HP-UX.

No delivery dates have currently been announced for any of the supported Lotus Domino “Rnext” server operating environments.

The statement is quite old but have not heard something else.

Thanks Heini,

          Maybe I need to ask some questions of Lotus.  I know the R5 version took quite a while to appear on HP-UX, I guess it's good from one point of view, in that it forces me to wait till there is a reasonably debugged version :)

Hate to spoil your party, but HP-UX is currently not supported on ND6, and I doubt it will be later on. I wouldn’t count on it, anyway.

Hi Gerco,

      I sent off an email to our vendor, and they are checking with IBM as to whether there will be a HP-UX version or not.  At least I guess, I don't just use the box for notes!  Id be rather stuffed if I had a $50K server and had to throw it away because they dropped support!
