How to write or create a simple file

My question is pretty simple.

I have an agent that deal with all my unprocessed Documents and it verify informations. But some of them contains error, so I want to create an error.log file to list them but i didn’t find good sample on how to write (or create) a file.

Could someone give me a good sample to work with ?
