I downloaded from 411 website, whenever I try to click the exe file, it gives me “failed to initialised”, from your post, I need to kill it from the server? Oh, I am current using only client, anyway to just kill client, either domino or notes client, when it just take too long to refresh?

One thing I don’t know about domino 7 is that sometime the view refresh do not lock notes, sometime it does lock both notes and domino. I guest , because I have 47000 documents, with so many categories and if formula, it takes sometime, few hours to refresh the view. I think it also has to do when you refresh, do you have your notes client open at the same time, or domino open at the same time. Also, I suspect some shared column formula may cause the delayed as well. ( I noticed there are lots of errors, once you edit a shared column, be it the name, or its formula). Any suggestion? tqvm Alan for looking into my query in the first place.
