How to use DA only for sending mail but not for receiving?

Hi all.

I have looked for a solution in this forum but couldn’t find any.

My customer use a secondary address book where they have all company wide contacts. The reason is that they would like to have them available for type ahead when sending mail.

The problem is that the server uses this second address book for finding recipients for inbound email. I would like to use the second one only for outbound email addressing. Is this possible?

I am using DA.

TIA

Inbound mail only uses the servers directory, names.nsf, it should be looking at a second one at all.

I thought so, but it is. I receive the message that the user isn’t unique but there is no other user in names.nsf with the same name. When I look into the second address book I find the doubles though.

I have looked at the hidden views to make sure there is no doubles in names.nsf.

Does anyone know which views is used by the server to find internet adresses. I thought I can delete those and still have the type ahead working.
