How to upgrade Notes client with Citrix

Hi,

We plan to install some of our Notes client under Citrix but i wonder how to make the client updates (ex : 6.0.2 → 6.0.3).

We’ve installed the Notes Client on the Citrix server and the data directory on a network drive.

If i upgrade the Notes client on the server, i will just upgrade one of the data directories … all the other users data directories will stay 6.0.2

Is there any way to upgrade all the other data directories ? I could try to copy the files from a brand new 6.0.3 data directory to all others data directories but that will not update all the “already” created files.

I hope my question is clear enough …

Hi!

It is a good aproach to copy the file from a fresh data directory into your existing data directories. Be sure NOT to overwrite existing databases (*.nsf) or the notes.ini!

The Notes Client will detect the version upgrade a startup and upgrades the databases design from the templates (*.ntf).
