I created local db on my old machine. Now I got the new PC and trying open the NTF file that I copied from old machine and I am getting “This database has local access protection (encrypted) and you are not authorized to access it”. I am devastated!!! Is there a way to un-encrypt it?

The database can ONLY be opened using the ID that it was encrypted for, this is a security feature of N/D. Once you get the proper ID and open it, you can then un-encrypt it.
