How to trace incoming emails

I got a situation like this. My user’s customer sent email to the user, but always bounced back. The email address is spelled correctly. Is there a way to check if the email has reached our email server? How? Where do I check/configure the black listing of incoming email?

Another question: provided the email spelled correctly and the email is free from virus, if one get a bounced back email, can we say it is the problem from receipient side?

For blacklisting/whitelisting and spam control, you should really check out Chris Linfoot’s site: http://chris-linfoot.net/

If the sending server is listed on some blacklist, you should let the sender know by configuring the bounce message in your configuration document accordingly. Since whitelisting is not available in Domino 6/6.5, you should upgrade to Domino 7 to get it. Otherwise, you have no way of whitelisting the sender’s host, and still keep a strong blacklist.
