Subject: Look at “shell” in the help.

I would either look at shelling out to the OS and running a program there, or perhaps using a ping function. You could try Win32 calls from within your agent.

Were you not able to use events4.nsf as were suggested in http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/0/7e8ad0a6fb22932e85257b2d0032a273 ?

That would be a much cleaner way, using ping/telnet sounds like a pretty bad hack.

Why not get GSX Monitor? That product will monitor your servers… Microsoft 365 Monitoring Tool | Martello Technologies

Subject: MTBF tool

Hi Rajesh

Take a look at the MTBF tool

it’s free and gives some more useful stats than mere telnet.

Subject: Software Required

Hi there

Would you be able to email the MTFB software for Domino 8.5.x, as I can not see the download links on the web site.

Many thanks

Subject: It’s there on the page

Hi Dave

There’s a flash widget on the right hand side of the page, just under “Email Subscription”.

Here’s a link to the software
