You are not clear as to why- if a reader has reader access to a DB, they can (purposely or the result of an agent that reads that db) put it on the desktop- I don’t know of a way for that not to happen. I am guessing your concern is that an icon is being placed as a result of an agent- now the end user knows of the db?

actually I have a main database having links to various databases. what i want is when user accesseshe other db’s, db icons should not be added on the W’pace.
