How to Sort To Do List by Start Date?

I have a user with a REALLY big To Do list that he’d like to be able to see by Start Date as well as by Due Date, as he often has a number of things due on the same day, but started at different times. The Start Date does not show up in the To Do view and is not listed as an option under “Customize this View.”

Is there some simple way to get this to show up? And, of course, I have to ask, why isn’t this field available by default?

How about creating a private view for the user? Copy the ‘All To Dos’ view and add the Start Date column to the left of Due Date column. Then Bookmark the view.
