I tried to follow Lotus’ Help file, but still can’t get Shared Login to work.I’ve created a Security Doc and Policy. Assigned it to a test user on a VM of XP running Notes 8.5.1. Domino server is 8.5.1 too.
Does Shared Login just start working or am I missing something?
How do I tell the ID it’s OK to use Shared Login?
What stops someone from logging into the PC when the Notes user has Shared Login enabled and getting into that persons’ email?

Last time this happened to me was when the policy was not correctly applied to the user.
Check with “policy synopsis”, if its not there, do a “tell adminp p mail policy” och “tell adminp p all”.
Also check in the notes-client that the policy did arrive safe and sound. Check for hidden view $Policies in names.nsf.
Thing should just work when applied correctly.
About the other issue. The user.id is encrypted when using Single Sign On is active. Only the user that is logged in while this feature is activated will be able to use the user.id.
