How to set up Gmail on Lotus Notes 8.5 Beta?

Also I am getting an error message:

File /home/pjharper/lotus/notes/data/mail/pjharper.nsf does not exist

Looking at this site:

What does he mean by:

“1. Create a Lotus Notes database file to store your POP emails: Lotus Notes does not create a file automatically as Thunderbird or other mail clients do but you have to manually point the mails to flow to a file that is already existing.”

The install on Ubuntu Hardy went well.

Subject: I got it working with gmail using the site listed above.

I got it working with gmail using the site listed above.

I had to use the “Home” profile and it worked great. I also discovered that my POP mail address was username@gmail instead of gmail.com.
