How to run agent after filling in a field and clicking enter/Return?

Greetings,

I currently have a form where there are 2 different fields in which the user can key in information, hit the respective button and return the results into a personal folder.

How can the users run my agents by just hitting return after filling in the field, and not having to take their fingers off of the keyboard to click the button via the mouse (I’ve tried training them to just hit the tab key once to select the button to no avail)?

Will a $Return field handle something like this? The agent called will depend on what field currently has focus.

I don’t think what you are trying to do is possible, since I believe that Notes treats a return as a new line for a field that it is in. The closest I think you can do is to put your code in the onBlur event of your field and have them tab out of the field.

I would caution on doing that however, since you may not want to save a document and place it in a folder based off of an exiting event…
